  • By the Will and Mercy of Allah ta'ala I had a dream last night in which I saw Shaykh ^Abdullah in my local musalla and he was making dhikr. I then went to him, kissed his hand, gave him salaam, and he returned it. That was all I remember, subhan'Allah.

Insha'Allah the dream will come to me again more clearly!

    Bismillah, Alhamdulillah,

Here is what Al Qadi Abu Bakr Ibn al-‘Arabi statement about Al Ghazali (rumetullahi 'alaihi) – "Our master swallowed the seas of the philosophers in order to defeat them, but when he tried to throw them up he was unable".

Would it matter to you or the Ahbash, al-Ghazzali’s book, Ihya’ was burnt in Andalus. Would you then use that against him to attack him and belittle him, or worse, calling him KAfir -- as the Ahbash do with Ibn Taymiyya?

  • @Najashi12

That is ur confusion because u follow the way of the Philosophers who innovated by abandoning the authentic narrations. Abu Muhammad said:

And I heard my father and Abu Zur`ah: Commanding people to abandon the deviants and the innovators, and they were very severe in that, and they forbade authoring books with opinions not based on narrations. And they forbade people from attending the gatherings of the people of Kalam, say: A person of kalam will never be successful.”

  • @Najashi12

Ya Akhi, please abandon the way of Kalaam as our Imam As-Shaffi said:

’Run away from Kalaam like you run away from a lion.”

Imam Ahmad Ibn Habil (rahimallahu) said:

"Allah The Most High addresses the servant on the Last Day, there will not exist between the servant & His Lord an Interpreter".

    This is based on

"There is not a single individual among you save he will be addressed by his lord, nor will there exist between him and His Lord an interpreter." - Al Bukhari.

  • @Najashi12

Correction! Allah has the attribute of Kalam and it is NOT called Quran. The Quran is one of the Kalaams of Allah. Read Surat Al-KAhf 109:

Say, "If the sea were ink for [writing] the words of my Lord, the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even if We brought the like of it as a supplement."

The Ash`arîs falsely claim, the Qur’an is an internal meaning and not, in fact, a speech of Allah.

Allah spoke to Moses (peace be upon him).

  • @Najashi12

What you say is is rejected as it is based on Kalaam (Greek philisophy) and NOT from the pure teachings of the Salaf.

    Imam Ad-Darimi in An-Naqd wrote:

"He has revealed of His Book and the Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) affirmed for Him. This thing that is repeated time after time: limb, organ, and the likes of it; is pleonasm, myths and vilification, no one among mankind says it. Mentioning of organs and limbs are a pretence and vilification from you"

    Imaam Maalik said:

“I am only human, I make mistakes and I do give correct opinions. As for my opinions, examine them, if they are in accordance with Sunnah, take to them.”

By extension all the Imams including Shaikh Al Islam Ibn Taymiyya, "will have their words accepted or rejected"

We make du'a for Allah's Rahmah for them - never curse or abuse them - unfortunately the Ahbash are known to do. As An-Nawawi said "cursing is deprivation of the mercy of Allaah The Almighty"

  • @Najashi12

When there is a disagreement we should refer the case to the Quran, the Sunnah, or the sayings or Ijma' of the salaf - NOT the Khalaf like Al Ghazali’s, An Nawawi (Ruhmetullahi 'alaihim). Our speech about the scholars should not be partisan - As Imam Malik alude: "everybody can have his word accepted or rejected except the impeccable Prophet Muhammad(salalahu 'alaihi wasallam). Ur explanation 1-11 R rejected as it is based on Kalaam. How do you know if it is as you claim?

  • @myyou1 @myyou1 11. Such explanation can be found in Al Ghazali’s, An Nawawi….and countless other..the point is not to compare Allah to the creation or claim Allah unites with his creation or the creation posses an attribute of Allah. Nothing is like Allah, no creation is part of Him and He’s beyond our reach. Becareful, and don't take thinks out of its context and remember that we will be held accountable of what we say on the day of judgement May Allah guide us

  • @myyou1 10. For-example if you write Bismillah you writing has a beginning but it reflects the meaning of Allah uncreated speech, similar to if you right the name Allah it reflects the creator whom we worship and those letters are not God himself.

  • @myyou1 9.The term Quran is referred to the uncreated attribute of Allah (Kalamullah) and that is beyond our imagination. And It’s referred to the book, or the recitation of a person and in this case you don’t say that your recitation is the uncreated attribute of Allah, because your are a creation and what you speak is a creation and Allah is not part of you nor does he unite without, may Allah Guide us.
