Francis Albert "Frank" Sinatra (pronounced /sɨˈnɑːtrə/; December 12, 1915 -- May 14, 1998) was an American singer and actor.

Beginning his musical career in the swing era with Harry James and Tommy Dorsey, Sinatra became a successful solo artist in the early to mid-1940s, being the idol of the "bobby soxers". His professional career had stalled by the 1950s, but it was reborn in 1954 after he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor (for his performance in From Here to Eternity).

  • I discovered Sinatra watching gangster movies!!! I'm 19 and my girlfriend hates it when i listen to him in the car! I tell her that Im sorry that frank doesn't have to say fuck every other word to be considered a good musician, like the crap she listens to!!!

  • Great ,thanks for uploading.Check out Brian Setzer Orchestra's version of this,it really kicks ass

  • Looove this!! :D

  • @pollitttyler so glad someone else below the age of 25 agrees with me :D im 21 and love this old classic style of music...where talent actually exists

  • He was not classically trained- but it was the phonetic quality of his voice -his phrasing, his interpretation, that has established Sinatra as one of the foremost interpreters of popular music of the Twentieth Century.

  • @oliviabyrnvfuvu

Are you referring to the music of Sinatra, that era ? If so you don't appreciate class. your probably into rap or worse. But don't come to this site and complain , just don't come at all, you won't be missed , misfit.

  • @pollitttyler - Amen to that. Music was never made to cause people to hate each other, try drugs, and go wacko. Music was a get away, now its a reminder of the problems people try to away from. Rap = promotes hate/gangs/drugs - Dubstep = promotes kids using hard drugs. Lady gaga = promotes people to be not normal.

  • Luck is on the second leaf of the shamrock.

  • Love the brass in this song. Sinatra's and the band's.
