This is video of a short wood harvester built by koehring in the 1970's. There were about 170 of them made. The factory was in Brantford Ontario and koehring went on to make more huge machines like this through the 80's including the feller forwarder and bunch delimber.
these clips are taken from a sweedish documentary-hence the sweedish narration.

  • That brings back old memory's I work on those started 73 to around 81 the last 4 years

    i was working for Bob Neal was looking after 2 short wood harvesters mechanic and operator

    i have a few pictures of them no videos .

    Cool to see a video of those old machines after about 30 years
