Janet Kuypers reads C Ra McGuirt poetry 05/25/10 at "the Cafe", the weekly poetry open mic

This video is from Janet Kuypers on May 25th 2010 (05/25/10), where Kuypers read poetry at the weekly poetry open mic that she hosts at the Cafe in Chicago. On this night, not only introduced she open mic (introducing every open mic reader and the feature for the evening), but she also read her original poems "Conversations VII" and "For C Ra" (for the feature who did not read this evening, and her prose / flash fiction piece "Age". During this time, in honor of C Ra McGuirt, Kuypers also read three poems from C Ra McGuirt out of his book "nopoem" (a collection of his poetry previously published over the years in cc&d magazine, through Scars Publications, http://scars.tv). The C Ra McGuiirt poems Janet Kuypers also read this evening were "on earth as it is", "you can never be too rich or thin", and "cigarette poem". She read these poems from C Ra McGuirt because he was the scheduled feature poet that evening at the Cafe, but he did not read his poetry there that night.
