@IndependentConserv Faith in Jesus Christ first and asking in his name first and only. Love seed, tithe, offering mean nothing without developing your congregations faith only in God first. If it is given without faith in God, it's sin, bottom line

@IndependentConserv Simple enough, the gospel says anything that you ask in Jesus Christ name with faith, you shall receive. James goes on to say the same regarding receiving from anything from God only by unwavering faith, not by giving. Giving is sign of Charity. Charity is a fruit of the spirit of the holy spirit. Notice, a fruit. You have to believe and have faith to receive anything from God, that is the first requirement.

@abiola20 I don't know about that. Interestingly, Jesus family did not have money enough to bury him, a pharisee did. Christ even told the disciples not to take anything for the teaching of the gospel. Paul goes further to state he didn't take advantage financially of people during his missionary work. So what example are preachers like these following, it is not a scriptural example.
