Review — NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits

In my first attempt to start reviewing videogames, I'm starting out small, with the WiiWare platforming adventure, Kindred Spirits.

Feedback is well appreciated, since I do like finding out if there's much point in tiding myself over during the day with these projects is really worth it.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever heard of WiiWare games. I'll have to look into that. Hopefully Mom sells them at work.

She won't; WiiWare is Nintendo's digital distribution of smaller, original games on the Wii Shop Channel; can't buy discs for them.

Wow, I've never played, or heard, of this game, but it sounds fun. Real fun. I'm gonna look it up.

People usually aren't aware of WiiWare games, but a large majority of them are worth the small hit on your wallet they make. The Bit. Trip games are a great example.

I'm stuck trying to get past the weird horned boar thing.

The ones that try to ram you into the wall? Unless there's fire nearby to grab, or you've gotten the lightning bolt, just jump over them. The timing's a bitch though.

Ohhhhhh. Well, then I'll look on the Wii shop channel. Is WiiWare free? If not, I hope it will be someday just like the Internet channel that I finally got for free.

No problem, I did find it tricky in parts, although that was mostly just the timely consumption of your gliding and jumps to cross the right gaps.

Thanks for the review. I'm having a lot of fun with the game but man, it can be real tough!
