Prachi Desai in a comedy chat

A debut in one of the most raved about films of 2008 Rock On!! and now she will be soon seen in a comedy flick Life Partner opposite Tusshar Kapoor. The film also stars Genelia DSouza, Fardeen Khan and Govinda. But Prachi has no qualms about doing another multi starrer. Prachi recently won the best debut award at Anand Lok Star Puraskar and the Sabsey Favourite New Heroine at Star Golds Sabsey Favourite Kaun award.

The actress who was noticed for her performance in Kasam Se, we thought, would now ask filmmakers to look more towards TV than modelling — when looking for a fresh face. But she has a different take. Actors on TV are quite old. In fact, most of them have older screen image too. I was lucky because age is on my side. That is a big advantage, she says.
