yeah, in case you have never built a hot rod in this day and age. I have 7 grand in chassis work alone. And I have receipts for everything else. It's not like the 70's when you could go to the scrap yard and get a motor for 40 bucks and have machine work done for 50. Unfortunate, but true.

Sounds sweet dude! I always wanted to build a vega ever since I was in high school and Hot Rod Magazine featured a month by month build of one back in the early 80's. Thanks for posting, and ignore the negative comments, its all good.
