Unforgettable

My tribute for The Dutch/German Warrior with American blood

The fantastic music is by Nick Glennie-Smith, for the movie Secretariat.



Pine Chip-daughter Pine Spirit and Germany's favorite horse Diamond Way (from Super Way) were brought together.

In 2002 a dark bay colored, bold foal was born.
Jaap Elzinga and Arnold Mollema, his breeders and owners, gave him the beautiful name Unforgettable.

With his trainer Arnold Mollema and his groom Kim Veening he was victorious in the German Derby in 2005 as a sophomore, after he had won the Breeders Crown as a 2 yo.

In 2011 he is still going strong, broke his personal record (1.09.9) twice.

In his spare time he is a Sire and his kids are rocking the tracks already.
His beautiful 3yo Italian daughter Over The Edge is a winner.

Yes what a fighter in track and always gave his best around many track in Europe.

But for me in Cesena made an amazing final rush, was so far by Algiers Hall and overcome the american at the end running so fast last meters.

And sure you made a great job with this video.

Thank you for the insight explanation Amico.

I think that blasting final rush in the Tino Triossi is my favorite move of Unforgettable.

You can really see his fighting spirit, speed and stamina here.

And he prefers to be behind horses...which makes this one even greater...

Thanks mate, i really appreciate your video and sure your dedication. I perfectly remind Unforgettable's victory in Prix Tino Triossi in Rome, i was there and has been surprising even beacause younger italian generatin of "F" was very strong. Faliero As, Fairbank Gi, Frullino Jet, Felix del Nord were hard contenders but that day Unforgettable won paid at betting something like 50/1. And even victory in Prix Grassi in Cesena is between my memories with a great final rush against Algiers Hall.
