Lip synched performance from the band's second out of four appearances on "Shiva...".

Interestingly, on the band's third appearance on the TV show, pushing "Turn! Turn! Turn!", they closed the show again with a synced version of IFAWLB.

Would have been nice if it was "She Don't Care Abou Time"!!

  • Who was the host? Something like "Stink Weed?"

  • There's great Live versions just a click away

  • How cool. Director Tom Burrows was my Radio Television & Film instructor at Cal State University Northridge back in '83. He told his students in class that the doggone producers nickled and dimed him to death about camera shots. No matter. Good and fair man, a great storyteller, one helluva professor. Tom, you are missed.

  • Frantic, screaming chicks -- oh yeah -- Sooooooo, you wanna be a Rock N Roll Star?

  • One of the best "break-up" tunes ever. I thought of this one as I left Brooklyn, NY, back in '67.

  • Tom Petty watched this when he was little....Dad ....what oil rig were you in the state of the federal?

  • @sentimental1friend I grew up back then too. you just cant find words that convay the magic of those days to those not there. just when you thought it couldn't get better it did. rock'n roll brought western civilization a degree of harmony...exspecially from the beatles in 1964 till about 1968. it was a great time to be young. I wouldn't trade it for any before or after.

  • Aren't the go go dancers GREAT!

  • A great song by one great group. Those of us to were blessed to grow up in the sixities had the greatest time experiencing this great music. What a wonderful time! I saw the Byrds when they came to my hometown with the Dick Clark Caravan of Stars in 1965, and they were just starting out getting established as a rock n roll band. We miss Gene Clark. How about a Byrds reunion by the still remaining ones while there's time?!

  • Yeah........love it
