... dumb question but are you saying the name right? my friend says it differently ... kind of hard to explain in words what his pronunciation is

Well.... from feedback I've received from viewers that are more knowledgeable than myself, my pronunciations are not always correct. With that said, however, I am pretty dang sure I say Panerai correctly.

I have to say I dont get it. The watch is attractive and the power reserve is a nice feature but you dont seem to get alot for the price.

I agree. In my estimation, I believe most Panerai models to be 15%-25% overpriced.

@lonepantherkmt Incorrect my man. Automatic watches have rotors (automatic winding) and manual wind watches do not. They are both MECHANICAL watches, but they are not both AUTOMATIC watches.

@skadoodlez Panerai for sure, its a real man's watch. A classic look, sophisticated, yet powerful. Alot of attention from the ladies for sure... Alot more than other watches.

Do you have any experience with Jaeger-Lecoultre ? I've been thinking of either purchasing a Panerai or JLC (most likely reverso). Just wondering if you could give me some input because it's been a real struggle to decide between the two brands. Anyways awesome video :)

He says "Panerai" correctly but with a north American accent. He might try holding the "rye" sound just a millisecond longer and... oh forget it!

You can have an automatic and wind it too. Believe me. And the comparison with the gearboxes is also wrong.

If you look at european cars, you can choose between automatic and semi automatic where the clutch is automatic an you are still able to choose the gear yourself.
