Massive difference! For those rocking an e8400 and want to beef up their system, look no further. This gpu will provide wonderful results, without breaking the bank.

- Batman: AC runs very well on this card with all the setting set to high on DX9 (with 4x for AA). FPS are 50-60. 3D games all run very well (60fps) since they're at 720p (limitation of 3DTV Play/HDMI)

  • Nice upgrade over the 4870! Limited parts you say well your right its a cut down gtx 580 chip and the 570 is also from the 580.

  • Hello frankieboie,

    Thanks ^_^

I was looking into getting a 570, but the prices were too steep (350 bucks for the evga model). From my research, it seems like the best buy is to wait out three generations before upgrading to get the most bang for your buck.

  • I was wondering where u have been. Keep on making awesome vids!

  • Hello JustAnotherLevel,

lol, I've just been lazy (that and work has been eating alot of my time). I still plan on uploading my Q and A response video very soon, I apologize for the crazy lateness ^_^'

  • Hey Treasurefan02,

Welcome back from your short little break. And definitely thanks for the heads up about this unit. I'll take it into consideration whenever I finally get the chance to start building my computer.

Would you consider the unit a top of the line ? Or more of an alternative piece ? Now do it functions best by itself ? Or do you have to have another unit to work with it ? Is there any cons ? If so, is it a major con, or minor con ?

    Cool vid !

  • Hello NightViewer00,

Thanks, it's good to be back. If you plan on playing slightly older pc games, or emulated games (psx, saturn, dc, mame, etc), I'd say the 4870 is a better buy. If your goal is playing the latest games, this card or the 570 series are the ones to pick up (especially once the Kepler cards come out which should decrease the price of the 570). This card is more midrange (currently the 590 is top of the line). Nah, this card does great by itself, although...

  • ...you can run two of the same cards in a SLI format to get some really meaty gains (pricey though). Cons would be:

    - my hdmi port on this thing doesn't work, but I'm still able to use one of the dvi ports via a hdmi to dvi adapter. Surprisengly, 3D still works through the dvi port. I'm checking now to see if DTS-HD MA audio works as well.

  • u shouldnt turn on vsync

  • Ill just wait til the 600 series comes out >.>

  • I cant decide to get the ftw or one of the other ones (gainward, msi)

  • @Treasurefan02 Ive got two of the Classified versions running in SLI and their awesome. I'm from the UK and it cost me £240 per card and i can run anything well above 120 FPS (well, maybe BF3 isn't above 120 but its pretty damn close).

If anyone is looking in the market for a GTX570, i say dont bother and get the 560 448 Core as it benchmarks the same if not better than the 570 AND its cheaper. Win=Win.

  • Should get the classified edition, two fans, thicker PCB (much better overclock) and 6phase power design. And its just alot newer

  • speak up man, you have a cold or something?

  • I got that graphic card, but not 448 core, and i got SC.
