BAFTA-winning actor Jamie Bell takes on one of the most challenging roles of his career in Steven Spielberg's much anticipated adventure story that brings Tintin to life on the big screen.
Spielberg and Peter Jackson -- two powerhouses of modern cinema -- forged a unique alliance to create "The Adventures of Tintin," based on the late, great Belgian artist Hergé's iconic character. Bell plays Tintin and is joined by an all-star cast including Andy Serkis as Captain Haddock and Daniel Craig as the pirate Red Rackham.
Bonnie Laufer from Tribute spoke with Jamie during a promotional stop in Toronto about working on such a challenging and prestigious project, how motion capture genius Andy Serkis was an inspiration and he also dishes about his next film, "Man on a Ledge," opposite Sam Worthington.

Heh, I'm not ashamed to say that I officially have a celebrity crush on Jamie Bell. This is quite a breakthrough for me as it's the first time I've had a crush on a celebrity my own age. (Well, a year or so older, but close enough.)
I've seen the film twice already, in regular 2-D and in IMAX 3-D. I'm prepared to go a third and fourth time whenever somebody else is willing to accompany me.
I certainly agree about performance capture finally being acknowledged. Hopefully the day will come.
