Michael Clayton (George Clooney) is an in-house "fixer" at one of the largest corporate law firms in New York. A former criminal prosecutor, Clayton takes care of Kenner, Bach & Ledeen's dirtiest work at the behest of the firm's co-founder Marty Bach (Sydney Pollack). Though burned out and hardly content with his job as a fixer, his divorce, a failed business venture and mounting debt have left Clayton inextricably tied to the firm. At U/North, meanwhile, the career of litigator Karen Crowder (Tilda Swinton) rests on the multi-million dollar settlement of a class action suit that Clayton's firm is leading to a seemingly successful conclusion. But when Kenner Bach's brilliant and guilt-ridden attorney Arthur Edens (Tom Wilkinson) sabotages the U/North case, Clayton faces the biggest challenge of his career and his life.

  • Hes also writing Red Dawn Remake, the Oscar Nominated writer who wrote The Bourne Trilogy and Micheal Clayton. This will be awasome.

  • LOL!!! ummmmmm okkkk.....soooo let me try to understand your dumb ass retard rationale here. so because i MYSELF have never directed a feature film that means i cannot point out the FACT that Tony Gilroy totally messed up during his commentary on the DVD when he got the scenes mixed up??? Thats pretty stupid reasoning on your part buddy!! Why are u defending him? He screwed up, and i pointed it out, simple as that. get over it!

  • Who gives a stuff, its a good film, he wrote and directed it and would know more about its structure than you...who cares if he made a stuff up on the commentary, he's already 10 films infront of actual production than anything you have put together chump!

  • He is so HOOOOOOOT

At 56 damn I just reached a new low

  • So what you are basically saying Snowfeathers11 is that the editors rearranged the scenes after the movie was completed without Gilroy's consent or knowledge and THAT is the reason why Gilroy had no idea what scene was to come next in his OWN movie. Umm I don't think so dude!

  • Hey Tony i might be related to you my last name is Gilroy.

  • So what? The scenes in a movie are often re-ordered prior to the final cut. The scenes may have been re-ordered during the editing process, after filming was over. Just how many videos have you spammed this message on, anyway? What exactly is your agenda?

  • Did anybody buy the Michael Clayton DVD and watch the movie with Tony Gilroy's commentary? He makes a HUGE error in it. In the commentary Gilroy talks about the scene at the bar after Arthur dies when Clooney goes to see Pollack. Gilroy says that after this scene, Pollack goes back to the office and the opening late night office scene at the begenning takes place, BUT in actuality, that scene does not happen til the next night in the movie. HUGE screw up by Gilroy. And this is on the DVD!!
