Cairns Australia - A snippet of our Aug 2010 holiday.

This was such a beautiful place to visit. I was blown away by everthing about Cairns...especially Palm Cove which is north of the city where we stayed and of course the beautiful city of Cairns. The video dosen't do it a justice but I still wanted to share it. I'm with my children and their father. All that screeching you hear is not birds but bats....thousands of them. And of course as you will see I made a mistake about the pool joining the ocean...but it's close.

P.S. You can comment all you like if you really need to about my mouth looking funny when my daughter does a close up of it ....I have a mouth full of braces...but not for much longer...hee hee.

I went there on a government funded trip the past summer. Absolutely one of the most amazing places I have ever been.

@Katriania Yes...it's paradise and I plan to go back as often as I can. :D

I just hope they get through this summer ok...apparently there is going to be some major cyclones over there.

@vmmc64 Yeah Palm Cove is amazing i live 1 suburb away from it and you can actually walk to it on the beach its lovely in the afternoon with all the lights shining it's truely paradise

@CaughtInSkin ...You're welcome :D ..I watch our videos of Cairns a lot because I love re-living our trip...and the videos don't do it justice...It really is heaven. Make sure you take a look at Palm Cove just north of Cairns by about a 15 minute drive. You will never want to leave!
