This was the first real video game I played. I remember beating it back in 2005 at the age of 5 on my old windows ME laptop. I could usually get all the points, and I enjoyed walking through the kingdom of daventry :D

Awesome! The gnome's name was so unfair, but at least you could finish the game if you got it wrong. I played the hell out of King's Quest (and pretty much all the Sierra games) back in the day. I bought two games when we got our first PC back in 1984/1985: King's Quest and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which was a text-based game. Night and day difference. King's Quest was the future of gaming.

i've heard the song playing around 2:38 before but i don't know what it is. Does anyone know what the song is called?

The games where you type in commands like "look tree" were far superior to the point and click games that game later.
The earlier ones made you think harder, and I personally find the use of language more enjoyable than the dumbed down pointing and clicking.

King's quest is awesome, im from chile and its a pity that nobody here knows about all those great games.

Well I'm glad I have DosBox now since the PC speaker sounds come out of my sound card and speakers so I can adjust the volume and use headphones on a laptop on plane rides and trips. I also find a USB pad is best to move my character.
