This deck was in bad shape. It was sealed then stained on top. It was also bleached. In the video I show you how to prep it for a great stain finish. Please notice the correct way in which we clean full length of boards. You should not start and stop mid length as this will leave lap marks.

  • If you use a garden hose instead of a pressure washer, then you won't get the furring of the wood, which in turn leaves very minimal sanding to do. I haven't used a pressure wash yet this year and have done about 10 decks. I use Arborcoat by Benjamin Moore. Top of the line!
