  • @randomxnp Wages are not profit. Profit comes from unpaid labor. By definition profit and wages are mutually exclusive. The money spent on wages cannot be profit. If I'm a capitalist and I hire you for 7 dollars an hour, then the money I spend paying you is the opposite of profit, it's money required for the production process, not the extra gained from it. Workers don't make profits, workers make wages by selling their labor power.
