most bands of any era try to follow suit and get on to whatever is selling at the time.. you'll see if you watch 'you really got me' and 'all day and all of the night' by the kinks that they rocked a hell of a lot more than the beatles ever could. though this song does sound alot like a beatles rip, so fair enough :]
