If this film has intrigued you, and live in the UK or are visiting the UK. There is a little known 50's Museum at Cae Dai, Denbigh, North Wales. It is a goldmine of information from this era. From cars, furniture and even the lorry that was used in the Great Train Robbery. A recommended visit indeed. ( IM SORRY TO ADD THAT THERE HAS BEEN A FIRE AT THE MUSEUM ON THE 1/12/09, SOME OF THE CARS WERE DESTROYED)
Easter 2010 50;s museum opened its doors again after the fire

I know Telstar by the Tornadoes was made in 1962 but was put to this in remembrace to my brother who was a rock n roll fanatic who was born in the 60's and these were 2 of his favourite records. Bill Haley was played at his funeral, sorry for the confusion.

Yes your right Telstar by the Tornadoes was made in 1962 but was put to this in remembrace to my brother who was a rock n roll fanatic who was born in the 60's and these were 2 of his favourite records. Bill Haley was played at his funeral, sorry for the confusion.

  • My Mum and Dad just had a bunch of their home movies taken in the late '50s and early '60s put onto disc and it was so nostalgic to see relatives and friends from the past. What really struck me about those times was how meticulously dressed people seemed to be. My Mum was always in a dress with matching earrings and heels; my Dad in his suit and we kids were just as nicely decked out. I wish people still took this sort of care in their appearance. It made all occasions seems more special.

  • @bboots100 I agree with you

  • That was fascinating cos although I was born in the early 50s, I can't remember a lot of those things except I'm certain we had that 3 piece suite in the early 60s - lol. It's good to know & reassuring that so many of those products are still with us. Thanks again for another great trip down memory lane. Is there one for the 60s?

I did do one for the 60's and 80's but youtube muted them cos of copyright. I may do them again in the future.
