Powell and Reindl perform an intimate concert at Vysehrad (Prague Old Castle), March 20, 2008. Playing North Indian classical music, Reindl on tabla, and Powell playing his self-designed and built ragmakamtar which was inspired by the sarod and the oud.

Yes, sarod and oud all in the same 'guitar'... this was the idea. I designed and built it myself--- and call it "Ragmakamtar", because it is designed for rendering both ragas and makams.

Haha, just went on and it showed me the new videos from my subscriptions, good timing though! Must of been a bit of mood killer the string popping out, right at the end!

Fretless guitar is good, haven't been playing much this week, mostly it's been jazz improv on my fretted.
