Let me clarify: This is not a practiced scramble! I began memorizing the previous night, tracing the moves and pieces in my head. I solved it the next morning, February 16, 2007.
Scramble:
U' L2 D F2 U' B2 R U' B' D' B R' U2 R' U2 D2 R2 L'
Solve:
{Cross}R' D' L B' R2
{BL Slot}U' R U2' R' U' B'
{FR Slor}U2' B U F U' F2' U F
{FL Slot}U' R' U' R L' U L
{BR Slot}}B U B' U B U' B'
{OLL}b U B' U' S U B U B' U' B U' B'
{PLL}U2' R' U2 R U2' R' F R U R' U' R' F' R2
DUH! The record for doing this is about seven minutes!

does memorisation plus solving take less time in this method than 3 cycle?

I'm only familiar with the ol' layer method. What did you use to solve this?
I can tell it takes a lot less moves to solve 2 layers. Got a site where I can learn?
