When the lanes are too dry for reactive bowling balls, the Slate Blue Gargoyle feels right at home. Designed with fried lanes in mind, this hard urethane will get past those burnt heads and make a smooth, but powerful arc to the pocket.

Finish: 1500 polish
Hardness: 78-80
RG: Medium (2.59")
Flare: Low (.038" differential)
Length (1-100): 80
Back end (1-100): 40
Hook (1-100): 40 (oil) -53 (dry)
Avail. Wts: 13-16# (Gargoyle core)
10-12# (on request - light wt. core)
Lane Conditions: Light Oil - Dry Conditions

  • I love this ball too. When I'm healthy enough, you'll see a down the boards stroker use that ball.

  • i love my slate blue. thats all i bowl with on house shots. i have a polished one and a sanded one. when you have a 520+ rev rate urethane is your friend

  • Worst masking units I'e ever seen in a bowling center. All of that aside though, I liked the way that Slate Blue looks. I'm thinking about trying the new Ogre Urethane.
