hey Doug, you sound great and so does your new equipment. :)
but i wanted to go just a step further and give you a little constructive criticism, take it any way you like. the riff is very repetitive (but its a neat riff, don't get me wrong). even if you don't wish to use the more conventional verse/chorus(bridge) method of song-writing... perhaps you could switch it up a little and break from the annoyingly repetitive (neat) riff once in a while? :) good work.

@Creamella I don't mind constructive criticism at all! I agree that the chords are repetitive and would've benefited from some variety. I actually did use the traditional verse/chorus/bridge method for this song, but that probably gets a little lost because of the repetition.
The main goal of this song for me was really just an exercise in writing a song in a genre outside of my comfort zone. I was trying to write with an up-beat hopeful music style. To write a song that would make me smile.

I'm using an epiphone les paul that I've replaced the electronics in with Seymour Duncan pickups. And yes I will probably post some more Cash before too long. Thanks for the comments!
