Here's a crazy little groove I came up with. It's basically a variation of a Soca. The hi hat and bass drum are played the regular way, but the left hand plays all the sixteenth notes from the downbeat of one to the upbeat of two, as well as from 3 to the upbeat of four. In other words ONE-ee-and-UH two-ee-AND......THREE-ee-and-UH-four-ee-AND. (All caps indicate the accents). The left hand does this by using a "3 for 1" type of stroke.
