...I have a bassman...great amp...but it's too heavy actually...I am thinking of buting a digital vox or Roland...I didn't know about these guitarists using solid states...that's great...

Is the CUBE 60 dynamic enough to play funky-blues? It seems quite good, many bluesmen just hate digital amps though...I think they can be quite good anyway..just different.
This is a good player. Nice

That's interesting point.
Because people think Bluesman use tube amps. But infact Albert King use Acoustic Bass amp. B.B. King was using Gibson Lab. Texas Johnnie Brown was peavey. These amps are all soild state.
And alot of Funk Blues guitar players were using Roland Jazz Chorus Amp back in 70's till now. Average white band was JC. I saw Maze at super dome. Guitar player called "Jubu" use JC and he plays Bluesy clean sound, Distorition sound(from pedals)and Funky with his strat.

I like tube amps, too. But I never have a chance to play with legendaly vintage Gibson tube Amp.
Cube is just half sized JC,But more easy-brake and not tough as JC though.

Friend what is your gear besides Are 51 wah wah and that kinda "Fuz" overdrive ? like amp and stuff
samanoskee 2 years ago
Yes. that's Roland Cube Distortion chanel.
This amp doesn't need overdrive.
Not like JC's distortion knob.
