What did the car do when you tried the new key and it didn't work, did it just have the little car and key light blink and not crank or what?

@blitz1x Negative sir... then you're boned, and HAVE to go to the dealer who connects it to a computer and does black magic and you need to literally pay them hundreds

Ditto on putting up the instructions. I ordered without really (really) thoroughly researching the reprogramming. As it turns out (pun intended), you are correct. And, of the course the sites you can order from say it's possible. It's not. I'll keep digging to find out if there's an ECU hack or another method.

But I doubt it.
