impressive athletes. does anyone know if there is drug testing at these games?

Good question...I watched the movie the other night, and if I'm not mistaken (I've got this video muted cuz I'm at work, so maybe they're saying something that contradicts me), the WOD was a squat clean to overhead. I think the squat clean was the only mandatory move, everything else was discretionary.

I love this video...it's my favorite CF video now...so much excitement at the end. Congrats Jason, awesome job. By the way you're huge for a CF'er.
sorry, Jason. good job on the weight, but that's not a Jerk, that's a press or thruster...
c'mon man....

The rules stated only the need to lock out the weight overhead. Since Jason is insanely strong he did not need to jerk the weight, hence his faster time (less ROM).

Rules:
155 pound Squat Clean and Jerk, 30 reps
The barbell goes from ground to overhead, passing through a front squat in which the crease of the hip passes below the height of the kneecap. The finish position is with the arms, hips and knees fully extended, arms overhead, with at least a portion of the ear visible in front of the arm. Dropping the barbell is acceptable.

Strong! But the clean part (not squat), was ugly. (technique wise).

This was about pure speed and clearly, the technique was the right one. He CRUSHED the competition!
