i dont think FL is better nor reason, they are just different from each other and both have some good sides and some bad.

but my opnion the best setup you can have ( besides a good Logic setup) is reason rewired to cubase which allows you to use the best of both programs. reasons stability and cubases vst support ;)

@legomousse Ah found it, nice shit tough (but i can only play Darkened World @ you're myspace). The best bass songs from mine you can check are: Ongeinspireerde Bagger Jump, Irritating, Gabbers From Belgium, the tracks are not 100% good mastered but are the best bass'es from my tracks. I got more hard bass'es with 3Xosc but just not in tracks. I try'ed some times to make a hard bass with microtonic but wasnt that good 4 me (check Fatal 303). Thats why i use 3Xosc. Have fun :-)

If you want, you can listen mine, try to listen / download the vinyl on a label called Booby Trap Project, the ref is BTP 00. My tracks are Darkened World and The Wrecking Walk.

@legomousse I never say that, you get a nasty kick like in reason but you should check my Hardcore songs, all kicks with 3Xosc (1 or 2 songs is with sample kick from VIP zone). I say also some kicks are pretty low but thats because it's fast fast creation kick :P. My Dj name is Madrush or Ephor but with Ephor is just industrial... and i didnt say you got a high quality kick, just an easy fast kick. I only use 3Xosc then other plugins i swear some kicks are hard and nice.

BTW i also got Reason.

And also ugly'est way. 3Xosc, fast dist and compressor from fruity are terrible. The overdrive is okay. But you will NEVER get a nasty kick like on reason with that. I challenge you to do it.
