www.petrescuebyjudy.rescuegroups.com Trey is a very special dog with a very special story. It is actually a rather sad story. On December 24th he was hit by a car and picked up by Bradford County Animal Control with a broken leg. They just let him lay in the kennel unattended because they didn't want to spend the money on surgery. You can see him in the photo, in the kennel, holding his leg up. A volunteer got in touch with a vet who said that he would do the surgery for free. Then he backed out, saying he would only do it if there was already someone lined up to adopt him. Finally, the volunteer drove the dog to Judy on January 11th and begged her to take her. Well, if you've ever met Judy, you know the answer. Unfortunately, by the time we got her, the vet was unable to save the leg ~ it had been almost a full month since the accident. But you know, this is one resiliant dog! He is doing great. And he is also very fortunate in that he has been sponsored by Irma, a wonderful woman who has helped offset these expenses to help assure her of a good life, one better then she has had so far. We are confident that Trey will recover and be loved by a wonderful family. Thank you, Irma, thank you to that volunteer in Bradford, thank you to all the people who care for the forgotten pets!

  • Trey has been adopted and is doing wonderfully in his new home. His family sent us a video that Gisele made into a YouTube video. It is posted above as a video link. Please watch it with joy! Thank you from all of us at Pet Rescue By Judy.

  • Pet rescue by Judy does wonderful things here in Orlando. I have seen her help many animals in the past 5 years.Judy is always trying to find them good homes. She could use all they support you can give. Please help Judy by volunteering or donating. If you can't help Judy, please find a pet rescue in your area and donate your time or spare change to make a difference in an animals life. All three of my animals were rescued from no kill organizations like Judy's.She does great things for animals
