No Limits rendition of Great America's Formerly known Top Gun, now unfortunately renamed "Flight Deck". Support work still needs to be complete with some minor smoothing. I'm also learning how to use Adobe Premiere Pro

@willcol6 As mentioned, Paramount no longer owns the park so the names were likely changed for legal purposes since Paramount probably holds the rights to the movie titles.

why are people saying that!!!!! i never knew it was named top gun! but you have to say it does sound a little better than flight deck! i went on it today!! why did they change the name? it is like history???? i never knew i thought flight deck was always it's name????????

Ok..so it was originally named Top Gun (to go with the movie) when Paramount owned Great America. Eversince Cedar Fair purchased (they are not a movie studio, soley a theme park operator) they ditched the Paramount names for the rides. Another ride whose name changed was Drop Zone...now Drop Tower.

i went on this ride!the same one but why did not you ride on it?i mean it is a lot faster in real life?i mean i rode on it it waas faster but i like it!

huh? This is a simulation of the ride, in otherwords used a program and recreated the actual ride. If you're asking why it's not an onride video is because you really aren't supposed to take your camera on that ride unless you have special permission from public relations...

Yes, I'd be happy to answer your question. It is a roller coaster, a steel amusement device that relies on gravity while terrifying riders. Hope this helps.

Correction: It is an imbeded flash object designed to stream videos so that others can watch quickly without having to download.
