Simon Miller and Bernie Williams awarded their black belt in Jiu Jitsu at the Chimo Ryu club (Oakville YMCA). Chimo Ryu is part of the CJC (Canadian Jiu Jitsu Council).
Canadian Jiu Jitsu was founded by Shihan Ron Forrester, and is a blend of JJJ, and many other martial arts. This is a complete system where the focus is staying on your feet. This demo is only a partial representation of the system.

Part of the ritual is for new black belts to be thrown around by the existing black belts; Simon was injured during the grading so only Bernie was tossed around this night.
