Global HR Forum 2008 will be held at Seoul Grand Intercontinental Hotel from November 4 to November 6, 2008. Representatives from the worlds leading enterprises, universities, government and international organizations will gather to discuss global cooperation and the cultivation of human resources in making the global village prosperous.

"Global Talent, Global Prosperity" is the slogan for this 3rd annual forum that is focused on "Creative Talents for Global Collaboration."

'Global HR Forum' delivers the advanced theories and specific know-how for training the world-class personnel our enterprises so urgently need in this age of global competitiveness. Attendees will also learn creative management techniques directly from 180 world scholars and the CEOs of multinational enterprises from 43 countries.

Keynote speakers include Jack Welch, former GE Chairman and considered "C대 of the century Martin Feldstein, former President of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), Head of the U.S. best economic think tank Craig R. Barret, Intel Chairman who Led the enterprise in crisis to growth and prosperity and Terashima Jitsuro, former Chairman of Japan Research Institute, Japans leading economic expert. They will present ideas and insight into overcoming the uncertainties of todays global village economy.

Because of the urgent need to train creative human resources for the future in tandem with globalization trends, the forum will discuss the future directions of education. In connection with this, Diane McGifford, Minister of Advanced Education and Literacy of Canada, Jean-Robert Pitte, former President of Sorbonne University of Paris; Jo Ritzen, President of Maastricht University of Netherlands; Ji Baocheng, President of the Renmin University of China; Nicholas Burnett, Assistant Director-General for Education of UNESCO; Dirk Pilat, Director of OECDs Science and Technology Policy; Mihail Roco, Advisor for the National Science Foundation (NSF); Jerome Glenn, Chairman of the UN Future

Forum; Kimberly Johnston, former Chairman of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC); Garrett Mills, head of the School Curriculum and Assessment Authority will deliver Innovations in college education for the future and Education reform for training creative talent.

In addition, CEOs and the directors for global HR management from such world-renowned enterprises, collectively called the "Factory of executives or Talent making machine , as GE, Goldman Sachs, Samsung Electronics, HP, IBM, Intel, Toyota, BMW, Daimler, Motorola, P&G, Pfizer and Novartis will deliver the latest HR management secrets on the early identification and training of employees with the potential to become the next-generations executives.

At this forum, 100 government officials from 45 Asian and Pacific countries will attend as observers to develop political tasks. They will hold special interviews and meetings, and in-depth discussions with the forum speakers to find how we, by fostering talent, can solve our future challenges of hunger and diseases, the gap between rich and poor, low growth, aging, climate change, energy supply, and the quality of life.

Considering how interest has grown in the Middle East because of the Dubai Miracle, we have arranged a special program where 10 high-ranking local experts including Ayoub Kazim, Executive Director of Dubai Academic City and special envoy of Dubais ruler, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, will take part.
