Obviously its not a ghost. The person made one of the family members eat then they used the move_objets on cheat to place them any where.

Remove the ladder than just Fast foward they die in a few seconds or minutes

2. but the urn or tunstone in your sims lot
3. wait to 2-5 nights and the sims ghost will appear

Wait, can a ghost come out at daytime just you can't see them? o_O My grandma sim died and I'm too scared to play the family now.

Yes, the Ghost is acting like a normal Sim. Sometimes doors open, or you cant place 3 Sims on your 3-place-sofa. This is when you got a ghost. You can just take your telephone and call the exorcist or something (correct me if wrong) and he exorcises the ghost.
