  • I sae it at the Germanversion of bestbuy. It' s amazingly light an thin. But it struggled with aero. 1,8 ghz Atom is not comparable to 1,8 ghz pentium or core 2 duo just for the price not reasonable enough.

  • Yeah, you're totally right, they cheaped out on the hardware....

  • in japan if you get it completely stock its about 89000yen which in the current conversion rate is like 850USD. with with the hardware most up graded it still is around 150000yen. so if you really want to save money u should get it in japan. and it can be converted to english keys if desired

  • Wow, I didn't know it was that low, I've been seeing it online for around 100,000Yen or 1100USD/740Euro. Either way HK & Japan are still half the price of Germany! Raising Prices that much is rude!!

  • Gibts das auch auf deutsch?

  • das produkt ja, das video nein.... aber such mal nach vaio x in unserem channel und du findest auch ein deutsches hands on ;)

  • I want one..... >: \

  • Even thinner than my Vaio P, awesome ultra-slim notebook.

Light and stylish, not going to be your main home computer so the Atom is fine for mobile use.

I'd still go for the Vaio P though, It's still just such and awesome feeling being able to put it in my pocket, I'd buy this if I had enough money to spare though.

    Lovely.

  • @mitsukai89 Just to clarify, you're thinking of something that looks a bit like the OLPC-2 concept?

In place of where a keyboard normally goes you have a multitouch screen that can have a virtual keyboard with any layout you want.

Can also be used as an eBook, just turn it sideways and hold like a real book.

That would be awesome if Sony did one, there is the Microsoft Courier but that's just meant to be used in a portfolio position, still cool though.

  • wery nais

  • I don't think so because if you touch that lightweight system it'll fall on the lid. :D
