You Just Don't Know It- Chapter 2, Part 1

Chapter 2, Part 1

"Hey!" he said.

I turned to the right to where it seemed the voice was coming from, and I saw him looking at me so I said, "hey!" back. And there I saw the guy that was on my computer screen the day before; he had dark brown curly hair and the most gorgeous big brown eyes. I had to admit, he was really cute, but I just faced back to the direction where I was heading and started walking again. I'm guessing that this wasn't gonna start out to be a conversation because he only said "hey", and plus I didn't even know him. Worst of all, I didn't know where I was going; I just started walking with my sister. But all I knew was that Nick, I believe that's what Anna said his name was, went back in to his house.

About 15 minutes later I got back at my house. Wondering where I went?? Well actually nowhere..I had to confess, I didn't want to spend my day inside while it was really nice and sunny outside. Therefore, me and my sister just walked around the neighborhood for about 3 blocks and back, but at my sister's pace we had to walk slow. But I didn't mind, I loved spending time with her.

As I walked up my doorsteps, I noticed that neither my parents nor my brother got home yet. Since everything was quiet inside, and so was the outside. We lived in a very quiet and calm neighborhood.

My sister and I headed to my room and I sat her on the bed.
"Emily, wanna hear music?" I asked her and with a small grin she nodded her head. It's as if she understood me, and I think she did.
"Great!!" I said back, "You'll love this song; I know it's your favorite." I then grabbed my Ipod and walked to my Ipod stereo and turned the song on. "Beautiful Soul by Jesse McCartney started playing, and I knew she loved it. She started clapping so gently but soon enough she fell asleep in my bed when the song was ending. I laughed as I saw her, the song had either 1.bored her or 2.it was so calm and soothing. I believe it was the second one, like c'mon, it's Jesse McCartney, he's AMAZING!!!! Hahaha, but anyways about an hour or two my parents came back.

"Christine, Emily, we're home!!!" my mom shouted.
I then grabbed my pillows from my head bed and I put it on Emily's side just incase so she wont fall. And I headed downstairs.
"Need help, Mom?" I asked.
She nodded. Lucky me I asked and she said yes. It is always a child's dream for them to say, "No, that's ok, hunny. Go do your thing." But ohh well, I then helped putting all the groceries away while she started to cook.
"Where's Emily, Christine?" she asked as I putted the groceries away and noticing that she wasn't here.
"She's in my room sleeping, she fell asleep." I told her.
"ohh, alright." She replied and continued to cook.
I then finished putting everything away and I walked back upstairs to my room. Still there, I saw Emily sleeping. I just let her sleep and I walked to my desk to start on my homework that was due tomorrow, Monday.

About an hour of doing homework, my mom yelled, "Christine, come down to eat." I placed my pencil down and I walked downstairs. I saw my dad eating his food and my mom still serving mine. I sat down in my regular seat and I began eating as she placed my plate in front of me. Later on, my dad finished eating and he went outside to the drive way. He was a mechanic so he loved working and fixing cars. Then my mom went to do the laundry in the basement and I was left alone eating.
"Great! I'm left eating alone again.." I said to myself, but suddenly the door swung open and my brother came in saying, "Mom, I'm back. And I brought a friend"
"Ohh, great!!! I spoke too soon," I said to myself.
