Just saw "Searching for Sugar Man," documentary by Malik Bendjelloul at Sundance in Ogden. Even includes music from the unreleased third album.

Like many people are saying this guy is hugely under-appreciated. This song is beautiful from start to finish. I first heard it a long time back after living off Love's "Forever Changes" on repeat. (Yes, another superb outpouring of good music). For anybody that hasn't heard David Holmes Presents the Free Associations' cover of this - it's worth a listen. True to the original except for the female vocals and a subtle beat here and there for an extra touch.

nas sample, large pro killed this
Really a shame that this guy has not been acknowledged in the States and given the status he clearly deserves. Another indictment of the music industry.

Yeah! The only place where Rodriguez really made a name for himself was in South Africa and Australia... It's actually rediculous because his music is f u c k i n' awesome! My favorite song is still Crucify Your Mind oh and Hatesteet Dialogue.
