I am a descendant of the terrorists that killed so many natives. I never thought of the Cult band as a political band. They have always been just singing about magic and sex, in my mind. I would much live under peaceful Native American rule. There are violent and mean Native Americans too. who only wish to expand their hunting territories and absorb other tribes by any means possible. But at least their spirituality was intact and tied to the earth. and they had Shamans! with drugs...
