@ragtagSQUIRREL I tend to disagree, i have been to many more crowded beaches than this and only one [phuket] was better. As the sun moves through the day you are never always directly facing it and it seems to be overhead anyway rather than facing. Also being a lot more relaxed and idiot free i see no comparison with Malia in the slightest. With the greek feel, as with all cretan resorts you need to go to the back streets against the impressive mountan backdrop to appreciate that.
shame it doesnt look like this during the day, when its packed with sun loungers all facing towards the sun...........overcrowded beach and the resorts it just an overspill from Malia..no Greek feel to the place its difficult to see where Stalis finishes and Malia begins..much better places to stay in Crete than Stalis
