The times I have been most spiritual and in contact with the light has been when I lost everything and living on a beach with nothing but a guitar. There is so much freedom that comes with having nothing. From that point I am able to start from scratch to be anything that I want to be. Material items are like an anchor and they solidify the "now". If I want change then detaching from my "STUFF" is a good way to start.

i have somethin like this too...if my new computer wouldnt broke...i would still playing videogames like a maniac..instead i now use the old one without any videogames only for internet...and now i`m thankfull for the breaking of the new one cause if not,i probably didnt knew about bashar and all of his videos :) ps: i`m not english...

I had similar experience.My car was stolen.For first 5min I was angry.than asked myself a question what is good about the situation.My answer was that I DIDN,T NEED a car.I needed money at that time.So I got right amount from insurance and I was blessing a thift for taking my car.Easy sell no ads no looking for a buyer.Great!!

@13teres I agree with that. My car was totaled, I was injured, and they tried to charge me with being at fault. I was angry and frustrated. But, in the end, I appealed and beat the charges, I got rid of a lemon and got a brand new better car, and even got some much needed time off and an opportunity for a better position at my job.
