I just saw shawn hatosy on attack of the show and they also showed a lil glimpse of southland and it looked really interesting, i might get into it. Def gonna watch it tonight on TNT. Anyone have any reviews on the show/ what it's about??

It's about police officers in Los Angeles. The show has pared down the cast a bit from the first 2 seasons (the budget constraints of being on basic cable versus the first two broadcast net produced seasons), but the main focus is John Cooper (Cudlitz) and Ben Sherman (McKenzie) along with Lydia Adams (Regina King) and Hatosy's character Sammy Bryant. The plots are believable without being too extraordinary or too mundane, but the emotional realism is what really drives the show.

One of the best underwatched great shows on television, seriously people are so pathetic when it comes to TV show tastes. This show has action, emotion, great characters and really good directing. The fact that is was canceled shows from NBC shows that people dont know good television when the see it. Glad TNT picked it up.
