Library catalogs are starting to integrate RSS in interesting ways. Allowing patrons to save a search as an RSS feed creates an easy way for the patron to be notified when the library acquires and catalogs new materials the patron might be interested in. This video explores the catalogs at the Dekalb County Public Library, Knox County Public Library, the University of Virginia and Huddersfield University.-Ken Winter, VDOT Research Library, 5-28-10
