Thanks to Apple`s new operating system, LifeScan has created a revolutionary application that is going to make diabetic blood monitor much easier.. Watch this video to find out more.
This is vapourware. A hastily compiled 'prototype' for a product which will probably never exist. I managed to get in touch with the Lifescan team (took me a while to find their address) and they basically told me that they'd have to 'consult with their customers more' it would take 'years of medical testing before approval' and that they 'could offer no guarantees that the product would be made'.

Sounds interesting but in practice it is more complicated than the demo. For example food. Is there an option to add a different meal?
2. The blood tester is far too large, how about using blue tooth connection or direct to the 20 pin connection?
3. How about having an Oxymeter for exersize checkup.
4. The suggestion or advice part is not clear. It is too simple on this video.
5. How much is it going to cost and does it have a significant adding value to along diabetic patient?

What's stopping Apple and J&J designing a plug in glucometer onto the Iphone ? It would save the person having to carry around both devices.
