Sirens aren't installed just to be tested. They do get tested frequently, but that's not the purpose of installing it.

Yea I went to Wiggin Street and they sound the tornado siren off like every other friday and it used to freak our little 6 year old sleves out.
oh and I was totally a townie at this camp and i met some kids from it...

I was a student at Kenyon, and they used the siren very frequently (mostly on Friday at noon). It's not so much a tornado warning but just a test of the siren.
