@romello5kuggz nah, he has choice lessons on a usb stick, theres offline servers available, dvds and so on. its not going anywhere. if the mastersite dies, its going to be torrented. once in internet, always in internet.

The trouble with a lot of teacher's just like her (a math teacher) is that they talk in their own language in math. That is why many teacher's suck at teaching properly. Khan teaches in simple English what everyone else does understand. Basically because math makes sense to you as a teacher doesn't mean that it will make sense to your students.

@clippixdot Online teaching is firstly a danger to lecturing. Though in grades 1-10 this takes up most of the time, where the teacher is at the blackboard. With Kahn Academy, you could give the lectures in homework, and have engaging hands-on activities and group/project work in class. This would benefit ALL students, and the fastest learners could take in lectures at a higher pace and maybe go up a grade in a subject after being tested and verified they have the skills.

Seriously teacher, you dont make any frikin sense,!!!!! In khan academy, you have absolutely no pressure on you which means you can pause/restart the video. Whereas in a teacher/ student situation you have one teacher to teach like 20 people in limited time. this is inefficient! I think khan deserves the nobel peace prize. that teacher is just jealous!

what a STUPID teacher!!! Shes just jealous of Khan's fame and awesomeness. Khan's academy isnt a replacement for a classroom WTF!!!! Khan Academy has EVERYTHING and you lousy teacher could never teach 1/12345678910 of what Khans teaching!! I think khan academy is GREAT!! Sorry if you are too lousy and ignorant to make such a thing you stupid teacher!! Khan rules!!

The lady at 3:40 is a teacher,... and Khan represents a threat to her. Education is a monopoly. Teaching online is helping to break up that monopoly, they feel threatened.
