  • @pyrrho314 ... is something I find very odd. It ought to be a different system, i.e. with signs named for the season (say we divide the seasons into 12, with three stages to each of the well known four). But to keep the star or sidereal based naming, implication, and original signs is misleading. Also, if truth is attributed to the system prior to 1300 years ago (another comon claim) then it is not true now, for it is off kilter, and has thrown out adjustments for precession of the poles.

  • yes it is... but besides siderial vs tropical is the issue that BOTH systems were siderial originally. Even though Ptolemy divided the signs into equal portions, a big step toward the tropical, the precession was taken account of (the equiv of the dates of your signs getting adjusted every year (as you know it appears). But 1300 years ago they stopped updating it. And that moment was the conversion to a purely solar/season-based system. That it retained the language of a sidereal system...

  • It is possible to calculate a western horoscpe using the NASA ephemeris generator selecting the quantity n.31, while is not possible to calculate a sideral horoscope because in the NASA ephemeris generator you will not find something as ayanamsa used from sideralist astrologers.

  • The spring equinox is used as begin point by astronomers and western astrologers. From the vernal point starts the the polar system coordinates used by astronomers and the sign of Aries of western astrology. Astronomers and western astrologers do not use a system out of date of 2100 years ago, they use a system that is allways up date to the present time. They refer the positions of the stars to the equinox of the date.

  • @unripevocal you do not seams to understand, of course precession is real, but what is that change? Change the orientation of the polar axis toward the fixed stars, the sky do not change. The stars of the costellations do not change their mutual positions. So, why the astronomers change the values that define the positions of the stars? They change these values because they take the spring equinox as the begin of their referencial frame as do western astrologers.

  • @tolomeo1231 what tha hell are you talking about .... this is rubbish .... astronomers can't use a sky that is abstract and that was real 1700 years ago ... astrologers might chose to do that cause they're abstractists ... but please don't bullshit science that way ... I'm not gonna talk to you anymore cause I'm here to share knowledge ... but with these claims it's plainly clear that you know zero

  • @tolomeo1231 .... it's not the astronomers ... it's the preseption of the equinoxes ... that was by the ancients the great year , and all sort of believes are connected to that .... we are in the aeon of pisces ,(so we got the legend of jesus the fisher) , before it was aries (jews colture and horns) , before it was taurus (and we had mithra ) , before we had gemini (horus vs set ) ....

  • @unripevocal Astronomers change periodically the position of all the stars, so that the same star in the year 1950 had a Right Ascension and Declination and in the year 2000 had different ones. In 50 years the position of the stars do not change, so why the astronomers change their positions? They change the positions because they use the same referencial frame of western astrologers based on the spring equinox.

  • @tolomeo1231 .... no way ... astronomers can't use a sky that is more than 1700 years old .... I'm an astronomer myself , graduated 3 years ago ... the preception of the equinoxes is a really important movement of the earth , and scientists take it very seriously

  • so I'm actually a leo... August 25, 1988 is my birthday.. with a capricorn moon
