My friend and i converted the attic in my house. It was the first time we had done anything like it and with no experiance apart from my friend being an electrician. We went for the dr. pepper approach of whats the worst that can happen and after 3 weeks of workin in the evenings after our day jobs this video shows how it turned out..

  • wow nice chufin loft its so nice i want to be able to do soemthing simlar with mine we are getting a simlar ladder and may fit it to the bedroom also and as for the beams did you strenthen them if so how did you go about doing it as our joists are only 3x2 and there crappy they are suported by a wall half way in beetween teh house but still will need strenthening imo cheers :)
