It was a bitter cold day in Chicago on January 19th, a viscous snow storm hit the night before and left almost a foot of snow on the ground. But, this day brought blues skies and a radient low arcing sun to the South that cast beautiful elongated Midwest shadows. I walked to the Sears Tower, went up to the sky-deck, spent 4 hours studying and documenting my trip, then walked back to my studio on the South side of the city. For the next 7 months I worked on these paintings. This video contains almost 1700 stills, collapsed into 1 minute-40 seconds, to create this time lapse presentation. Enjoy!
@deadliestjesus thanks deadliestjesus, If you do go to the tower before April 30, 2010, all four of the Paintings will be on display from now until April 30th in the Willis Tower Lobby. Please stop by and check them out. The view from the top is amazing and the glass lookouts are very surreal.

I am going to Chicago soon and there were no other videos of "winter at sears tower", I hope it looks at least half as good as your painting. Very good project, I hope you get much recognition for your talent.
