  • Hello Chris I was wondering if you could pls share with me ur sugar cookie receipe? How much of everything do u use? Also how many drops of food coloring did u use to get it that great green color?

  • @dymaas6 I don't have the recipe on hand, but you can use any sugar cookie recipe; just make sure it's a dough that is sturdy and one that you can cut shapes with. confetti cakes has a real good recipe for one, check out stausses book. as for teh color I can't recall how much I used, I'm pretty sure I just squeezed color until I was satisfied. you do want to make it a bit more intense as color will fade in the baking process. hope that helps! chris

  • Were did u get green cookie dough

  • @cakesbydede all i did was make my regular cookie dough and add green gel color. this particular shade of green is lef green but you could make them any shade. I've also colored dough for christmas trees and just piped on decorations, or you could color it orange for pumpkins. I don't always do it, but for these it added to the affect of the cookie!

  • i love this i really want to make them or my party, but my friend is allergic to nuts, is there any alternatives you know of that i can use for the nail? (:

  • @MissSong09 Another thing you could do is make a "nail" out of royal icing and color it red. pipe them out of wax paper ahead of time and allow them to dry (atleast 24 hours) and then attach them to the cookies with a dab of royal. You could also just pipe the effect of a nail on top of the cookie with royal icing. You could also experiment with using something like banana chips cut in a nail shape and see how that works. Hope that helps.
