disclaimer:
This fan-made video and it is not to be taken seriously. It is intended to be a hypothetical teaser, not an announcement of any kind. (Final Fantasy and all related paraphenalia belong to Square-Enix)

I recently had the compelling urge for a Final Fantasy movie based on the story from the original famicom game from 1987. It would be filmed with live actors, props, costumes, etc, and have CG effects (magic, creatures, airship...).
I'm convinced that, if put in the right hands (like me, maybe), it would be a totally epic indie film :D
please, don't take this as "this guy's gonna make a crappy final fantasy fan-movie with all show and no substance" believe me, if i really decided to do something like this i'd put all my effort into its quality, regardless of budget restraints TAT.
and, yes, that is the crystal from FForigins for the PS1, i know it's not an ORB DX

(made this in like, 8 hours, created the music, myself, separately)

  • Y'know, I had the exact same thopught recently while playing the remade version for the PS One. And i totally agree, in the right hands, the original final Fatasy would be a great film. Would have to have some kind fo substance to it rather than just wandering about getting into random battles, but it has potential. I shall watch this project with great interest.

  • i barely have anything on the table as of yet :P so it's not like a project has even started. I see your pretty big into film (moreso than me), and if you have any ideas or would like to be a part of this, i'd much appreciate your input :)

  • i like it

    thank you

  • i REALLY love how you spruced it up like that. The final part, where the "shing!" was mixed in with the bgm fit perfectly. Great job, bro
